Restoration Roof Coating System

RESTORATION ROOF COATING SYSTEMS

The Protective Coating Advantage

The Best-In-Class Elastomeric Coating Systems for:

  • Reflectivity
  • Energy Conservation
  • Weather Durability
  • Life-Cycle Cost Reduction
  • Renewability

SVB Conglomerate utilizes Lapolla’s Restoration Coating System which is designed to protect and sustain the life of both commercial and residential roofs, particularly in central Texas’ hot and humid climate. The system is offered in two different formulas, each specifically formulated to provide solutions based on a facility’s environmental and exposure challenges. The coating system is designed for all substrates, with a few exceptions, to change the way you think about solving roof problems: concrete, single-ply, asphalt shingle, galvanized metal, modified bitumen, built-up and emulsion asphalt.

RCS 5000

Premium quality, 100% acrylic elastomeric roof coating designed to provide an economical protective wear surface, reflectivity and renewability. RCS 5000 is fluid-applied and manufactured using advanced all-acrylic polymer technology and formulated with an aggressive biocide compound and fire retardants. The fully adhered seamless membrane exhibits outstanding adhesion, strength, flexibility, and water resistance. Ideal for low-slope roofs with positive drainage. Available in regular, quick-set and fastset formulas in a variety of colors, custom colors may be requested.

Thermo-Sil Silicone Elastomeric Coating

A silicone, elastomeric high-solids roof coating designed to provide a protective wear surface, reflectivity and renewability. Silicone is a moisture-cured roof coating designed to provide long-lasting performance in the most rigorous climates. Thermo-Sil resists standing water, chemical exposure, and has outstanding low temperature flexibility characteristics. Thermo-Sil is available is a low solids and high solids, low VOC formula.

Related System Components

Additional products include polyester fabric, direct-to-metal primer, general use primers, EPDM rinseable primer, butyl tape and caulk sealant.

The Benefits of a Roof Coating System

Reflectivity

A low emissivity mixed with increasing reflectivity and UV Light resistance add to the system’s ability to perform and deliver key benefits.

Energy Conservation

Reducing a building’s energy load and thermal conductivity can result in a cooler roof and lower interior temperatures.

Life-Cycle Cost Reduction

The roof of a commercial building likely has the highest cost risk of the entire asset. Ensuring the long-term performance and extending the longevity of the roof means significant potential savings and a reduction of lifecycle expenses.

Weather Durability

A building’s roof does much more than provide shelter, it insulates and waterproofs the property, protecting the valuable contents within. Lapolla coatings act as a protectant, are algae and mildew resistant and reduce the Heat Island Effect.

Renewability
For a small percentage of the original cost, the RCS 5000 roof can be recoated and renewed, further extending the longevity and protection of the property
